- Information You Provide: When you sign up, you share your name, email address, city, and state/province. We never ask for street addresses or phone numbers.
- Technical Information: We log basic tech info to help us understand how Friends & Neighbors use the site so we can make it better.
- Financial Information: We don't sell anything yet. When we do, we'll use secure systems like Stripe or PayPal. We never house your financial data.
How We Use Your Information
Joyline Phone Service
Joyline is our free telephone service (1-888-282-4JOY). We capture your phone number only to deliver suggestions or one-time reminder texts.
Reply STOP to end reminders. Call logs are stored for 13 months, then deleted. We do not store voice recordings.
Browndog Daily Joy Alexa Skill
The Browndog Daily Joy Alexa skill does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. We do not record or retain voice input. We do not request your name, email, location, or any account information.
Your interaction with the skill is processed by Amazon under Amazon's own privacy practices, which you can review in your Alexa app. Browndog Daily Joy is operated by 1845.ai and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon.
Content is delivered from Browndog's servers and is intended for general entertainment and connection — not medical, mental health, or professional advice.

Browndog provides daily ideas, prompts, and suggestions. Content is for general informational and entertainment purposes only — not medical, mental health, or legal advice.
4. Ownership
The Browndog name, logo, written content, audio, and designs are the property of 1845.ai. Please ask before using them.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Browndog services for any unlawful purpose, to harass others, or to disrupt or reverse-engineer the services.

Browndog services are provided "as is" and "as available." We don't warrant that they will be uninterrupted or error-free.
